Julian is the director and head of cultural programs of Goethe-Institut Philippines.
Before taking his position in the Philippines in 2022, he was head of cultural programming at the Goethe-Institut Sao Paulo and South America. Julian worked for the Goethe-Institut in Saudi Arabia and Egypt as well as for various projects of German International Cooperation. Julian studied political science and Middle Eastern studies in Germany and the USA. He is invested in cultural exchange and fostering understanding within and between societies.
